Late on Friday, a huge blaze ravaged the Taiwan market in Jigjiga, the capital of the Somali regional state in Ethiopia.
The cause of the massive fires is unknown while there are still no reports of fatalities or serious injuries.
Neighbouring cities including Hargeisa north of Somalia have dispatched firefighting assistance, although the efforts were not enough to prevent the extensive damage, according to Hiiraan Online.
