PM Barre visits Somali army officers in Qatar
The Prime Minister recently visited Qatar, where he engaged in discussions with Qatari leaders aimed at enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation.
Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre paid a visit to the officers of the National Armed Forces undertaking an advanced military course in Doha, Qatar.
During the visit, the Prime Minister conveyed the eager anticipation of the Somali people and nation for their return to Somalia, to take part in and lead the fight against Al-Shabaab.
Prime Minister Hamza expressed gratitude to Qatar for its multifaceted support for Somalia, including the contribution of well-trained military officers to the Somali National Army.
The premier is expected to hold further meetings with Qatar’s high-ranking officials before returning to Somalia.
