The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia Hamza Abdi Barre on Monday embarked on an official visit to the city of Doha in Qatar.

He was joined by several cabinet members, including Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Abshir Omar Huruuse, Minister of Finance Bihi Iman Ige, Minister of Internal Security Mohamed Ahmed Sheikh Doodishe, and Minister of Education, Culture, and Higher Education Farah Sheikh Abdulqadir, along with other government officials.

During his visit, Barre will engage in various meetings with Qatari leadership to explore opportunities for enhancing relations and cooperation between Somalia and Qatar. These discussions will encompass economic collaboration, development initiatives, and security matters.
